Launch Survivor Cards Game

While teaching The Art of Survival, I decided to design a card game that would challenge players' decision-making and help them understand what is needed to survive.

The well-designed and fun game can challenge groups of 2 to 6 players (1 pack) in survival skills. Collect the tools and use them to build shelter, make fire and signal your rescue. You can also decide to escape to safety after collecting 100 miles.

There are risk, danger and challenge cards. An opponent may hit you with a blizzard or heatwave, another could raid your camp and steal resources or a wolf attack might take you by surprise.

The more priorities you master and the more tools you get, the more you can defend yourself from unseen dangers and sneaky opponents.

Fundraising

Having designed and produced a number of prototype packs, I took them to a team of survival experts who helped me tailor the rules into a fast-paced and challenging game.

My next challenge is bringing the items to market including initial marketing, production and packaging. I have connections in both the UK and the US that have recommended distribution to the Survival, Adventure, Gamer and Bushcraft genres.

I am looking for £10,000 to get the product off the ground, produce a supporting website, and associated media, production and deliver the first wave of the game.
