I am thrilled to introduce to you the Likoudis Legacy Foundation—an initiative dedicated to preserving the profound impact of James Likoudis, an eminent American Catholic theologian, author, and my grandfather.

Our Vision:

The Likoudis Legacy Foundation aims to honor James Likoudis by helping to foster a deeper understanding of his work and its enduring relevance in contemporary Catholic discourse. We focus on theological research, ecumenical dialogue, and societal engagement.

Foundation Objectives:

Establishing a Professorial Chair: We seek to create a professorial chair in James Likoudis's name at a reputable theological institution, serving as a center of excellence for theological research and advancing Likoudis's ecumenical vision.

Producing a Definitive Biography: We aim to produce a comprehensive biography of James Likoudis, capturing his life and theological contributions, and benefiting scholars, students, and anyone interested in contemporary American, Catholic thought.

Furthering Causes: The foundation organizes seminars, courses, and lectures to promote a deeper understanding of Likoudis's work and support initiatives promoting Christian unity, Catholic orthodoxy, and inter-religious dialogue. We provide grants and scholarships for research in these areas.

Collaboration and Knowledge Exchange: We collaborate with like-minded organizations to organize conferences, symposiums, and workshops that address societal and theological concerns, extending James Likoudis's influence.

Support Needed:

To achieve these objectives, we seek your generous support. Contributions will be instrumental in fulfilling the foundation's vision and ensuring the preservation and extension of James Likoudis's legacy. Specifically, we seek funding to:

• Commission and publish a comprehensive biography of James Likoudis.

• Establish the James Likoudis Professorial Chair.

• Organize seminars, courses, and lectures.

• Support research, advocacy and engagement in social action initiatives, interfaith dialogue, and causes aligned with Likoudis's values, for positive societal and cultural change.

• Disseminate Likoudis's teachings and related scholarly works.
