Launching the Des Moines Festival of Ideas

The Lyceum Movement works to bring people together around big ideas. In a time where so much of our life is lived in the toxic, superficial online world, we build relationships with our real neighbors in the shared pursuit of knowledge.
We connect working adults with the best and brightest thinkers, experts, and storytellers to spark conversations on the biggest questions of human life.
This summer, we're working to host the first annual Des Moines Festival of Ideas. We've got exciting plans, including a movie premier, flying in nationally known speakers, food, drink, culture and more, and we need the support of our community to make it happen!
So often, these kinds of events are reserved for people who live in big coastal cities. But big ideas belong in the Midwest, too, and belong to ordinary working people, not just to the well-off.
In order to make this event a reality, we need the support of our Lyceum pioneers, our early adopters--those of you who are interested in having better, bigger conversations.
Please consider donating, every bit helps!
