Laura and Sara's Path to recovery

Hi from Laura and Sara.

We lost absolutely everything and nothing. We are safe, strong, and this will not break us. Slowly but surely, we will rebuild our life. We only lived in Altadena for a few years but we loved our community.

I can't believe it's been wiped away overnight, all of it.

I know we will be okay, but we are in shock, we are sad, and have a lot to process right now.

We are extremely fortunate to be at my parents' for the foreseeable future, but we have to start over from scratch. I lost my daughter and Sara's Mother in 2020 from a auto accident. This sweet girl has been through more than a lot of us can ever fathom at her age.
