Laura and Tim Hill

Hello, I am Joanne Kristine Bruno and I am fundraising for my dear friends Laura and Tim Hill and their son Timmy.

Laura and I were coworkers at Riverview Medical Center for over 30 years. We became dear friends and now her family is in desperate need.

In central Florida, far away from the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, they battened down the hatches and were prepared for what Hurricane Ira would bring in terms of unending rain and gale force winds. The first post that I saw was the rising water encroaching on their cars, then it was them being evacuated via boat, for the water was quickly entering their home, with what little belongings they could gather. Tim returned to their home only to find that they have lost everything. Both Laura and Tim have hearts of gold, giving endlessly to their towns, (Tim was borough administrator of Highlands, NJ during Hurricane Sandy) friends, family and strangers throughout their lifetime. I would be grateful to see their friends, former coworkers, neighbors and all who love them, help them now in their unexpected time of need.
