Laura Bickford's Resting Place

On January 26, the unthinkable happened. After a sudden health emergency, Laura Bickford, beloved daughter to Van and Linda, and treasured sister to April, passed away. As all who know them can attest, the Bickfords are a closeknit and loving family; the devastation they feel at this loss cannot be overstated. This wonderful family is now enduring the unthinkable, saying goodbye to a child and sister and imagining a life without the regular visits, love, and joy they shared with Laura. In this time of tremendous pain, I’ve been thinking about what those of us who love this family so dearly can do to support them. While Van and Linda are the sort of people who would certainly give you the shirt off their backs and would not ask for assistance, funerals are expensive affairs and insurance only goes so far. Today I’m asking that you consider joining me in raising funds to help the Bickfords purchase a nice monument for Laura’s final resting place. Let’s honor Laura with an enduring display of her community’s love and let’s support her devoted family by removing any financial hardship they may face from this sudden and traumatic event.
