It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of our colleague and friend, Laura Rogers-Isaac, who passed away on September 29, 2022 in Modesto, California after a long battle with cancer.

We were lucky enough to have had Laura as part of our HM.CLAUSE team for over 27 years. She started her career with Ferry Morse Seed Company in 1995 as the Product Development Assistant. Over the next 18 years, Laura held several roles, including the PD/PM System Administrator, Product Information Manager, and Sales and Marketing Data Planner. In 2013, the Data Management team went through a reorganization and Laura officially moved into her role as the Master Data Administrator, where she drove the management of all technical data used by the Sales and Marketing teams.

Those that were fortunate enough to work closely with Laura over the years know that she had a strong work ethic and high attention to quality. Therefore, it is not surprising that during her time with us, she received several awards and accolades. In 2002, she was nominated for the Best Commercial Spirit as part of the Agora Challenge, and was recognized for being helpful, a keeper of the rules, having a heart of gold, and having a low tolerance for mediocrity. In 2008, she won the Employee of the Quarter award in recognition of her high performance and business standards excellence.

In addition to her official roles within our company, Laura also served as the unofficial mama bear of the Marketing teams, often calling her colleagues to check in on them and ensuring new hires felt welcomed and included. She was well loved by so many across our company, which is not surprising considering her warm, supportive, and positive disposition. She was also well known for her fantastic sense of humor and infectious laugh, leaving many of us with beautiful memories of times spent laughing together. She was the best of us, influenced many of us to be better colleagues and people, and will be deeply missed by many.

Throughout the journey of her cancer diagnosis and years-long battle, Laura maintained a staunchly positive attitude. She remained steadfast in her support of her loved ones and her dedication to her work and colleagues. Earlier this year she had the opportunity to participate in a program with Stanford titled “Women, Living with Cancer”. In Laura’s own words, “If you just live every day to the fullest, that’s what everybody should be doing…think about today”.
Laura is survived by her daughter, Nichole Armas, her son-in law, Ervin, and their 2 sons, with a third soon on-the-way. Please consider helping her loved ones through this difficult time by donating to her GoFundMe Family Fund. All donations will go to help pay for her service, end of life expenses and the remainder will go to her daughter, Nichole Armas.
