Laura Legant Funeral & Medical Expenses

On Sunday, January 22nd, 2023, Laura was welcomed into God's arms after an 18-month battle with metastatic Breast Cancer.

Laura was an exceptionally talented musician, artist, and animal lover. She loved Disney and adventure and loved planning trips with her family. Since childhood, Laura has been full of life and a force of nature. Laura’s positivity shined brightest. She persevered and continued to have adventures right up until the end. She was an inspiration to all and successfully left behind a legacy.

Laura has changed the lives of so many people. From students, to actors, to friends.

She was well known and well loved in her community.

She was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in 2021. She didn't let cancer hold her back and continued making the most of her journey. Since her diagnosis, she had weekly if not daily appointments. Unfortunately, she was unable to teach so their 2 income household quickly and suddenly became one.

In these extremely difficult times, the last thing we want her family to worry about is funeral expenses and outstanding medical bills.

We created this GoFundMe for those who so desperately want to help, but don't know how.

Contributions will be used to pay for funeral expenses and her outstanding medical bills. If donations exceed these amounts, the family will donate the remainder to cancer research.

Just know, Laura loved you. Even if you didn't know her, she loved you still.
