On Easter Sunday, 2019, Laura Nicole McLeod was tragically taken away in a senseless act of violence, which has left three children without a mother and an entire family and community in mourning. She was just 34 years old.
Laura was a natural caregiver. She had been both a daycare provider and a caregiver to the elderly, and had provided comfort to elderly patients as they transitioned from this life to the next. She watched over young and old alike, and had recently began pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a registered nurse. In addition to raising three wonderful children, she always helped others in need and provided support to those who had none. She was a nurturer, an animal lover, and a constant shoulder to lean on. And she always saw the best in those around her.
Laura was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was taken from us all far too soon. While our hearts may heal with time, her absence will always be felt.
Please help us raise money to support her funeral costs and to support her children.
