Laura Respess

My sister Laura will be traveling to UCLA hospital for open heart surgery on Oct. 5,2023. She has been hospitalized numerous times over the last few years. Recently her cardiologist in Las Vegas determined the time has come for surgical intervention and due to the nature of her medical condition recommended she go to UCLA. She has an aortic aneurism that they will repair along with replacing the aortic valve and a few other procedures. We feel very lucky to have the doctors that have been taking care of her, but the cost of the travel, rooms, and medical expense have been adding up causing a financial strain on the Respess family. The surgery has been put off for as long as possible. We have had friends and family ask if there is a Go fund me so we are setting this up for anyone who would like to help with travel and medical cost.
