Laura Slattery & Family
Donation protected
Created with permission by the Slattery Family. All funds collected will be given directly to the family.
A devastating accident happened on July 3rd, 2022 at the mouth of the Magothy River. Laura & Brian were on their boat for the fireworks and was struck behind by another boater who was not following the posted speed. While Brian was saving Laura, the boater fled the scene, creating a hit & run accident. Laura passed away a few hours later at the hospital from her injuries. The family is devastated by their loss of the glue that held the Slattery Family together.
If you knew Laura, you knew what she loved the most in this world. Jesus, her husband, children & grandchildren and her family & friends. She was a shining light to every person she met. She made friends with thousands and always had a smile & encouraging word.
This fundraiser is to assist Brian Sr., Brian Jr., Sarah & Amber as they have to do what no one should. Prepare for the funeral of their wife & mother, knowing that she was taken way too soon.

While no amount of words can ease their hearts, I hope as a community we can come behind them to show that they are not alone. Please leave comments and stories of the way she impacted your life if you knew her.
