Help Laura Rebuild

Laura Costello lost her home in "paradise," as she calls it, when Hurricane Irma struck Islamorada located in the Florida Keys.

She evacuated and moved her belongings prior to the hurricane but she does not have a permanent place to live or a job to return to.

Most immediately, she needs help with food, gas, bills.

As she said, "I can't even think straight now. I'm still in shock."

Let's help Laura rebuild!

** Who's Laura? The folks who started this GoFundMe campaign on Laura's behalf know her from as far back as grade school in Mahwah, NJ. Laura is one of the most easy-go-lucky, funny people we know. Through much adversity, she always comes out laughing (as you'll see in the video link below).

1. I'm Beth Whitman. I set up this campaign for Laura after a handful of her friends from high school were moved to do something for her. I live in Seattle, WA.
2. Laura is a dear friend of mine from our days in Mahwah, NJ--35+ years ago.
3. Laura lost her housing and job after Hurricane Irma hit Islamodara in the Keys. She is currently living in a condo owned by her Aunt and Uncle in another part of Florida. She does not have any savings and is now living off the goodwill of other people. She needs help paying her bills (car, gas and food) until she can get back on her feet.
4. Laura plans to withdraw funds and desposit them into her own bank account. She has been set up as the sole beneficiary of this campaign.
