My Volunteer Trip to Fiji!
Donation protected
Family & Friends,
This May, I have an exciting opportunity to travel to Fiji with several volunteers through a program called Volunteer Eco Students Abroad (VESA). We will be working in the remote villages to provide the locals with access to clean water, help renovate school equipment, and help the primary school children learn English. Those living in the remote villages, where we will be staying, have difficulties accessing clean water supplies. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from the locals and explore the beauty of the culture and the land! I am currently studying social work at the University of Missouri. My goal is to work abroad with programs such as the Peace Corps after graduation. This trip will allow me to gain better knowledge of what to expect after graduation.
In total, the trip costs about $3,050 and I am currently working two jobs while at school to make it happen. Living off a college budget I am still struggling to make this trip a reality.
If you would like to support this trip, please donate any amount you are comfortable contributing. I am truly grateful for your generous donations. Thank you so much for helping me make this opportunity happen!
Love,
Laura
