Funding for the Hausers; RIP Laura

NEW CAMPAIGN:

Although the treatment in Seattle seemed very promising, we were too late and Laura's body was unable to handle more treatment. In just less than 2 weeks Laura's heath quickly declined as she fought to hang on to be around for her son's 8th grade graduation and Tatum's 12th birthday and dance receitals.

I am keeping this campaign going for the Hauser's now that Rich is the sole provider and they will miss Laura's school and photography income. We need to be sure the kids have college tuition paid for along with other expenses that are expected of teenagers, not to mention the ever growing day to day family bills.

Please share this story and let those know that no amount is too little or too high! All gifts are appreciated and help this family make it through this very difficult time without their mother being a part of their lives.

*ORIGINAL CAMPAIGN*:
Could you imagine having stage IV cancer for 6 years and still not know if there is a curable treatment?  This is what Laura faces every day and yet she still fights with a vengeance.  We are amazed by her will and courage to fight this disease and I’m sure the strength comes from the support of her husband, two kids, family, and friends. Laura’s body has made it through 70 rounds of chemo (this is a guess because at some point you stop counting!) and multiple surgeries since she was diagnosed in 2009 with Stage IV Colon Cancer.  Her cancer metastisized to her liver and lungs, which has made treatment difficult.

Today we are asking for your financial support to help Laura and her family travel to Seattle for a clinical trial that we hope will save her life so she can come home and be cancer free for a change. If anyone deserves this it is Laura! The money raised will be used to help with travel, food, medical expenses, and bills.  Rich usually works 3 other jobs outside of being a firefighter and we know the bills are still due even if you aren’t here to work and bring funds. If you know the Hauser’s you know that Laura and Rich don’t like to be a part and we hope that he can stay out there with her as much as possible.

Don’t think for a second that your contribution is too little.  EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS!! And don’t think your contribution is too much either!  Please share this page to help make it go viral so the Hauser’s can get what they need for Laura to have treatment away from home.
