Laura's Emergency Medical Treatment

Please help Laura with emergency medical expenses and future treatment. Laura has worked for nearly 20 years in community service and spends much of her personal time advocating and serving all over. When a call is made and she can go, she goes. She would leave after working a 50 hour week travel the weekend advocating in Kentucky, Ok, Ga, Ala, wherever she was led and return in time to pick up grand-kids spoil them and back to work. She loves people and being in services. The love of her life and her priorities before anything are family, and those GRANDKIDS. She began having excruciating disabling pain in her neck and head in August. It continued to worsen and spread and stopped her from doing nearly anything. Her neck was deteriorating, her c-spine narrowing, there is a mass that remains on her thyroid and some nodules in her lungs. Healthcare is very expensive and she has not received any in years. The critical remedy was surgery on her neck. It was the only option. Unfortunately, she has no health insurance and is in dire need. Her employer has committed to a portion of the costs, which she is eternally grateful. However, a large portion remains and future treatment is still needed. We ask please help any way you can even if it is sharing the need with your friends. We know she has touched many lives and she hates to ever ask for anything from anyone. She is adamant that no one who is struggling themselves to put themselves in a harder position by giving. Laura truly needs help and asks with a humble and grateful heart.
