Lauren Harmer's Legacy of Kindness Scholarship

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Edward Harmer and Lauren Ashley Harmer was my daughter. She died tragically on March 11, 2023. Our hearts are broken in a million pieces. Lauren had a heart of gold, always smiling and laughing, and she especially loved children! She was very kind and made everyone she met a better person! She spread joy wherever she went and was always the life of the party!
She lived and worked for the town of Westfield, New Jersey as an Program Event Specialist in the Recreation Department. She particularly considered the summer camp program and the senior programs in the winter to be the joys of her life.
Though she is no longer with us, we wish for her legacy of kindness to live on. With the money raised through gofundme, we plan to offer scholarships to students at Westfield High School and establish a perennial memorial garden there and other sites.. We request a brief essay on what the student has done or plans to do to spread joy and kindness in small ways everyday. We can each make this world a better place in baby steps! Mother Teresa once said: "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love."
Please help me to make the love ❤, kindness and joy of my beautiful caring daughter Lauren Ashley Harmer last forever and spread around the globe.
Thank you.
