Lauren Hurt hospital bill assistance

Hello, we are Ezra and Sarah, and we were the Sid Richardson bike captains for the 2022 Beer Bike season. We are setting up this GoFundMe for a teammate and close friend, Lauren Hurt. Your contributions will be used to help cover her medical expenses.

 

During the beer bike races, Lauren and two other girls crashed on the track. The other two girls involved in the crash managed to walk away with road rash and less severe injuries, but Lauren suffered significant facial trauma to her jaw, nose, mouth, and forehead, as well as road rash, scrapes and bruises all over the rest of her body. We are exceedingly thankful that Lauren suffered no life-threatening injuries, but she still had to undergo surgery, as well as an ambulance ride and a significant hospital stay.

 

We will continue to update you all as much as we can, while still respecting Lauren’s privacy as she recovers.
