Lauren Kaye Scott Memorial and Burial Fund
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we are setting up this memorial fund for Lauren Kaye Scott.
On June 9th Lauren Scott was found deceased in Los Angeles, California. She was a beautiful 27-year-old young adult who struggled with addiction while trying to find her own way. She was a kind and gentle soul who would go out of her way to help anyone in need.
Her smile and laugh were infectious. Although she struggled with the pain of her addiction, her friends and family will always remember her as someone who was not only beautiful on the outside but the inside as well. She was always willing to share words of encouragement despite her own situation.
Many people may look at Lauren in many ways but Lauren was a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter, wife, and friend. She was loved and cared about by many people who knew her. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
We are currently working on funeral arrangements but find that it is more expensive than we could have imagined and are struggling to find funds to help cover the cost. No one expected the loss of this beautiful soul so early in her life. In order to arrange funeral services, Lauren will need to be brought across the country to her final resting place so that her immediate family can join in a celebration of her life.
We love you and will miss you always.
All proceeds received will go directly to the family to help with the following
Funeral expenses
Memorial Marker
The family would also like any excess funds above and beyond funeral costs to establish a memorial fund in Lauren's name for any direct family member with mental health or addiction treatment. If you or anyone you know is struggling with addiction, the family urges you to seek help. Check on your loved ones often during these trying times.
We will continue to add information as soon as finalized arrangements are made.
