Lauren McGinty family aid

Thursday, February 10th, 2022, Lauren McGinty suffered a powerful stroke. She is currently in the Neuro Trauma unit and recovering well. Lauren did, however, lose much of her speech functions and motor skills on the right side of her body. While she is making remarkable strides each day on the road to recovery, the specialist says it will most likely be a year before she is 100%. She will spend many months in a rehabilitation facility to regain her function.

Lauren is a very respected equine event photographer and the official photographer for the Northwest Junior Rodeo Association and the Oregon Mounted Shooting Association. Lauren has spent her life bringing joy to people thru her eye for the best memories involving both horse and rider. She is very loved in her community and the "door person" at No Place Saloon, for which she has been an employee for over 20 years.

Her daughters, however, could use some help. We just don't have the funds for some expenses and improvements to the house to accommodate her new needs before she comes home. If you can help, we would sure appreciate it!
