Help Lauren recoup her burnt up losses

Hi, My name is Suesan Pawlitski. I'm a member of  the Santa Barbara Yacht Club and one of our "family" has recently had a terrifying experience so I am fundraising for our hard-working front desk manager, Lauren Russ.

 

Lauren was driving home from Los Angeles recently after spending a few days with her sister, who was (ironically) recovering from a car accident. When she got to Summerland, her coolant light came on and smoke started pouring out of the car before making it to the next off-ramp. She immediately pulled to the shoulder and got out just as it burst into flames. The whole vehicle became engulfed in a matter of seconds!

 

Fortunately, Lauren made the quick decision to get out of the car, otherwise, this could have been a huge disaster. She is "fine" and very grateful, however, she has had a significant loss which will be a financial hardship for her. Not only did she lose her car, and a suitcase full of  her favorite clothing, but she was emotionally shaken up (as you can imagine). But yet, she's back at work ALWAYS with a smile on her face.

 

We're asking you to donate to help her purchase a newer (and safer) car and replace her favorite clothing. Her car was an older Mercedes valued around $3000 and her possessions valued at $200.  Every little bit will help take some stress off of Lauren.
