Lauren Varsen Neuro ICU Expenses

Hi, our names are Gabriella Cooper and Sydney Varsen, best friend and older sister of Lauren Varsen, who is in a critical condition after suffering a severe seizure followed by five days of uncontrollable seizing. On Tuesday, July 13th 2021, Lauren began seizing, and didn't stop until July 17th. She has been in a coma in the Neuro ICU at UPenn Hospital since Tuesday, and will remain in the Neuro ICU for at least another month. Doctors are running every test possible, but are having trouble discovering the cause of the incident.

If you know Lauren, you know how amazing, intelligent, and strong she is. An Electrical Engineering student at Drexel University, there are no words to describe how loving and incredible she is. Lauren is so young, only 22 years old. We are praying for a full recovery, and trying to raise funds to help offset the 7-digit medical bills she will be facing. With the tragic passing of her Mother last year, the family is extremely unprepared for this financial crisis. Her father Arif will be relocating from Florida to Philadelphia to support her through the hospitalization and extensive recovery process.
