Lauren’s Fight against Metastatic Breast Cancer

Dearest Family and Friends,

On behalf of my Brother, Larry and Sister-in-law, Lauren, I am reaching out with difficult news to share. On May 2, 2023, our beloved Lauren was diagnosed with stage 4 triple negative Metastatic Cancer. The cancer is spreading rapidly and has already metastasized to her liver and spine. Given the type of cancer and Lauren’s young age, her doctors recommended an aggressive treatment plan. However, due to rapid growth of cancer cells in Lauren’s liver, treatment has been put on hold; her liver cannot support chemotherapy. At this point, we are praying for a miracle.

For those of you who know Larry and Lauren, they are the most caring and giving individuals you would ever meet. They have two beautiful little girls (Maren, 3 years and Mila, 9 months), who are Lauren’s whole world. As you can imagine, the weight of this news is almost unbearable, but in the face of adversity, Larry and Lauren have shown incredible strength and resilience.

The past three weeks have been intensely difficult for the entire family as they process this sudden and devastating news. Lauren is a beautiful light in our lives; one of the strongest and most loving people I know. She has a tremendously difficult journey ahead of her and it will take a village to support her and her family through this.

My hope is that we will help Lauren and Larry with the cost of medical bills, meals, house cleaning, child care, and any other unforeseen expenses as they navigate this emotional and difficult time.
