Laurens cancer fight for health and a family

On Friday the 23rd of August, at the age of 30, my beautiful soul sisters world came crashing down and she was diagnosed with cancer. This woman is one of the strongest and most selfless people you will ever meet. Her and her husband Adam had been trying for years to start a family of their own after being the most doting aunty and uncle to many nephews and nieces. They decided to seek medical help to be able to conceive and after a hysteroscopy and D&C on the 12th to make sure everything was ok, Laurens results came back and she was told she has endometrial cancer and needs a full hysterectomy. I have known this woman for nearly 18 years and not only would she make the most amazing mother, it's the only thing she has ever wanted. She sees the oncologist in the next 2 weeks and surgery could be 3 to 5 weeks away so the race is on to be able to harvest and store her eggs or ovarian tissue so that they can one day have the opportunity to have a biological child via surrogacy. The issue with that is that this is quite expensive and with only 1 income, not an option for them. I have started this campaign to try and help their dreams become a reality. When I asked Lauren if I could do this for her, her initial answer was no. She felt as though her cause was undeserving compared to other people's cause. If this doesn't show what a beautiful person this woman is, I don't know what will. The love these two people have to give a child of their own is overwhelming and if you could help me make their dream a reality, I would be forever grateful. At times like this, 1 dollar and a simple share could be all it takes to make this couple's dream a reality.
