Lauren's Education

My name is Lauren Strange and I am 18 years old as of January 2015. My situation is very unique because I graduated highschool two years early and I am now attending two universities at the same time, perusing two different majors. Starting in 2013 when I was 16, I began my college journey at Evangel University and today I am only two classes away from my Associate of Arts in Leadership. I also attend Missouri State University where I am perusing my Bachelors in Special Education.  Receiving financial aid at two universities is impossible, so I have to pay for most of it out of pocket. For summer 2015, I am taking 15 credit hours and I have no loans or FASFA available to help take off some of the financial burden. Sadly, if my goal is not met by the time classes start, I will not be able to attend classes this summer and will be pushed back another semester.
