Laurie Huot Hlaing's Memorial Fund

On July 17th, we lost a genuinely special person who brought happiness to everyone who knew her.  There are no words to express our profound heartache over the recent loss of Laurie Huot Hlaing, who was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend.

She was the heart of our family, always caring for others before herself despite battling Lupus all her life.  But the most special qualities about Laurie were her strength and her infectious laugh.  She was an unforgettable human being and will live on through her husband Ted and her 2 beautiful children, Bradley (age 14 months) and Maddie (age 2 1/2 years).

The outpouring of love and support from people far and wide during this sad time has truly been appreciated.  This memorial fund has been created to give those who knew and loved her an opportunity to help with funeral costs; the rest of the funds will be used to start a trust fund for her kids .  We also appreciate the support from friends of friends or even strangers with a large heart who wish to help another family through a difficult time.
