We all know how selfless and giving Laurie Meier is. It is now time that we can help her.

Why I'm fundraising

Laurie has been hospitalized since October 24th with Guillain-Barré Syndrome. A serious condition that affects the nerves. This has left Laurie unable to move or breathe on her own. The prognosis is positive, however it will be a long road to recovery. As Laurie has been unable to work the expenses keep adding up. Her insurance coverage is going to be converted to COBRA which is another added expense. Even with insurance coverage such an extended hospital stay is a huge expense. We don't want Laurie or her family to have to worry about anything other than her recovery and rehabilitation.

The impact of your support

Any support is greatly appreciated. Over the years Laurie has been so generous with her time and money. She volunteers extensively for the Cardinals Care organization and is a generous and faithful member of her parish. Any money raised will go towards Laurie's medical bills and day to day living expenses.
