Laurie Tyner Cancer Battle

Hi, thanks for taking the time to read this. Laurie, with the support of God, her husband Paul and son Justin is once again stepping into the arena to battle cancer.

To introduce you, Laurie was a teacher at an Early Learning Child Development Center in Great Falls, Montana. She is a faithful and longtime volunteer at the GF Rescue Mission and also an event coordinator at her church.

Those who know Laurie and those yet to meet her will tell you that she is a vibrant, joyful woman who reflects the love of Jesus with genuine compassion and concern for all.

Laurie is currently battling stage 4 cancer in 7 tumors in the lymph nodes, with the worst tumor growing into the large muscle on her left thigh and infiltrating the spinal canal, pinching off the nerves to her legs. After the first round of chemotherapy that began just before Thanksgiving in 2021, Laurie and her medical team continue to meet the challenges of this foe head-on with cautious optimism.

Twice in the past, the Lord has allowed Laurie to triumph over cancer 27 years ago and in 2018.

With their faith in God being paramount, Laurie, Paul and Justin know that He is at work, placing the right medical staff and other support in the right place when needed. This process has been a rollercoaster with unpredictable ups and downs. When you are in the fight of your life, well, life keeps going on; jobs are put on hold, income ceases, but the bills didn’t get the memo, so they just keep piling up.

We are asking for donations to assist them with their bills and the upcoming medical expenses. All donations will go to the Laurie Tyner Benefit Fund. This is at Stockman’s Bank in Great Falls, MT.
