LaVoie family lost everything in Maui fire
Donation protected
Please consider helping the LaVoie ohana who lost everything in the devastating Lahaina, Maui fires.
The destruction caused by these fires has left Miles, Eli, and their two small children, Skyler (9) and Mylo (3) without a place to call home. Miles had just spent the last 8 years updating their house with his own two hands, and now it’s gone. With little time to evacuate, they had to leave behind cherished memories and possessions in order to escape the horrific wildfire. We are beyond thankful that they are safe, alongside their 2 dogs and 3 tortoises, but are heartbroken for them. Not only was their house completely destroyed, but their ENTIRE town and livelihoods.
Miles and Eli have always been two of the most generous, hospitable people and they (along with so many others) are in need of our support now more than ever. Any donation would make a significant difference. Let’s show them that they are not alone in this devastation.
All contributions will go directly to the LaVoie Ohana to assist in covering the costs of replacing essential belongings and eventually restarting their life. Miles and Eli are currently floating between homes of friends and hotels that barely have any room to accommodate them. Let’s help them find their way forward.
Additionally, let’s not forget about the thousands of other neighbors and friends of Miles and Eli that have been displaced. If you would like to help the community of Maui, here is a trusted site: https://www.hawaiicommunityfoundation.org/maui-strong
