Lavon's Legacy
Donation protected
Lavon Walker was a founding member of Save Our Streets, an anti-gun violence organization in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. He was an an incredible friend, mediator, youth minister, and most importantly, husband and father. Tragically, Lavon was shot and killed while on vacation in Miami on Sunday, October 9.
Lavon was a passionate advocate against gun violence, and his friends and family will continue to work for peace in his name. He leaves behind two beautiful young sons: Lavon Jr., 8 years old, and Matthew, only five months.
The staff at Save Our Streets, the organization he helped found, is raising money to support the education of his two sons. Please help us support his family and his sons, who are left with this terrible loss. With your help, they will grow up in the healthier, safer world that Lavon fought to make possible.
Please support the education of Lavon's two wonderful boys, Lavon Jr. and Matthew.
