- Hi my name is Kristine and this is my mom LaWanda. About a month ago we found out that she has stage 4 esophageal cancer. We had a week long stay in Lubbock where we had made plans to come home and start radiation treatments only to be heartbroken when just after being home for 1-2 days being home she ended up in the Hobbs hospital with pneumonia. That's when we found out that treatments were now out of the question. When she gets released from the hospital, she went to stay with my brother and sadly she lost her battle.
- When we were in Lubbock she told me that she wanted to be put to rest with her mom, grandparents, son, and sister. so my friends I ask of you in these times of need for donations big or small would truly mean so much to our family .
