Lawrence is a Sophmore!

Before we even begin, I want to thank everyone who donated last year making Lawrence's university dreams come true. He got there, he did it, and he flourished. In his first year at the University of South Carolina, Lawrence Ogina made the Dean's List both semesters and finished up with a 3.82 GPA. This is definitely a feat in any department, but with Civil Engineering it is absolutely unbelievable. In addition to his studies he also managed to travel to Utah to perform with Divinity Dance Company, mesmerise the Columbia audience with the Snow Pas de Deux in Carolina Ballet's Nutcracker, and even spend the last 6 weeks training at Cincinnati Ballet. Even in the midst of COVID-19, it has been a fairytale year, and that is because of all of you. I now ask that you to dig deep in your pockets and help him continue on this amazing journey. We know things are hard for everyone right now, but we can't let him down when he has already come this far. Please take a moment and remember where he came from; orphaned at 10 in the rural parts of Kenya to now a nearly straight A student at a top university. He deserves our help, our love, our support. Thank you for reading and thank you all for constantly supporting me. Missing you in Kenya, Cooper
