Lawyer fees to protect my son from felon

Hi my name is Kelly and I am the mother to an AMAZING 6 year old boy. Unfortunately, this amazing boy is also the victim of child abuse at the hands of his father. His father has been found guilty and has a felony charge against him. I am in desperate need of help, as I'm disabled and do not have the funds for the lawyer my son deserves. I have exhausted all resources in my area and I have nothing of value to sell. There is a protection from abuse against his father for both my son and myself until 10/23. Even with that on file, his attorney is fighting for visitation. We still live in the home the abuse happened in and so we live this nightmare every day. My son begs me to move daily, but I can't afford it due to my source of income being disability. I have found an attorney willing to take our case, but he requires $4000 up front and I don't have it. PLEASE I'm begging please help my son and I, we have no one to help and no where to go. Before getting sick I worked every day of my life and have NEVER needed a handout, so this is very hard to do. But I don't want my son to become another statistic. PLEASE help! All info regarding his father's charges are public and if proof is needed, I can provide what is legal and doesn't jeopardize my son's safety. Thank you
