Lax for a Cure

Tax deductible
Team LFC (Lax for a cure) was created because CANCER SUCKS and we  want to see if we could use our collective love for lacrosse to help bring a smile to local children suffering from the disease and teach our children some valuable lessons along the way. While raising alot of money!

We have the opportunity to visit the cancer ward at Children’s Hospital in Dallas on November 7th from 10AM-12PM.   They will use this time to bond and form friendships with children just like them.  Each kid will leave a pair of fiddlesticks for their new friend so they have something to remember our visit!  It will really help hammer home how special and humbling service to others can be.

As part of the visit, we asked what we could do to help with general donations. They expressed that they could really use birthday presents as so many of the children are hospitalized on their birthday. We will work out the specifics on the cash donation to make it acceptable to them (cash, gift cards, etc).
