Donation protected
I am Cathy Tucker I am Djuna’s Sister-N-Law All donation made to this fundraiser will go towards funeral expenses and getting family members to her funeral which will take place in Panama City Florida. I will be the one receiving the funds and will be the one paying out the funds to make sure all Djuna’s family and the people she loved most will be able to pay their last respects to her. Thank you too everyone for your donations. This is Djuna. On March 4, 2020 in Fountain Florida she was murdered. Shot down in cold blood as she was walking down the street. The name of the man who murdered her is Jason Jones. He is a 41 year old white male.
Let me tell you a little of the story of what went own. The story has been all over social media as well as the news but for those of you who haven't heard I'll feel you in.
A little after 5PM on March the 4th 2020 Djuna was walking down the street when unbeknownst to her a half a mile down the road a homicide crazy man had just killed his mother in her home. He then proceeded to chase his girlfriend down the road shooting at her. At some point one of his bullets did hit his girlfriend. The girlfriend saw a house which was the house next door to Djuna's home so the lady ran to the house and went inside. This man Jason Jones ran up to the house after his girlfriend and shot several times into the home. He then turned from the door and started moving on down the road. That is when he ran up on Djuna walking.
Jason Jones then proceeded to raise his gun in the air and shoot Djuna in the head killing her. He then took off running into the woods leaving Djuna dead in the middle of the street.
Djuna didn't know her killer or his girlfriend. She just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Djuna was a beautiful woman with a personality that was bigger than life. She never met a stranger. She was the type of person everyone wanted to be around. People flocked towards her because her energy drew them in. She was one of the strongest women I had ever known.
Djuna knew people everywhere she went and everyone that had the honor of knowing her and being her friend could tell you hundreds of stories about her. She didn't deserve to have her life taken away from her just for walking down the street.
We are coming here to ask for help. Since Djuna had no insurance we have to come up with the funds to get Djuna home and to pay to have her put rest. Please anything you can give will be appreciated more than we could ever tell you. If you only have one dollar you can give please give it cause every dollar counts. As I'm sure you all know it's very expensive to put someone away and right now all of the family is devastated and we dont know what to do. We thank you all and pray God blesses you all. Remember tell everyone you love, you love them right this minute because you are never promised another minute. Thank you.
