Laying Michael Sand To Rest
In the early hours of morning, Monday August 31, Michael Sand unexpectedly took his last breath, far too soon. His fiancé, Laurie, found him. His passing is devastating, to everyone that knows them.
Michael loved his family, sports, cats, good food, simple pleasures, his faith, and most of all, his “Angel Eyes.” He was a kind soul that came into Laurie’s life and showed her real love and kindness. I will forever be grateful to him for showing her what that felt like.
Laurie and Michael were a working class couple. Michael worked at Squires in Bossier City for 15 years. His death was unexpected, and while the grieving is immense, so are the expenses in a time like this. I’m asking for donations to help ease this time in Laurie’s life - funeral expenses, time off of work to grieve, and for assistance in securing a smaller place to live, as she won’t be able to afford their home on a single income. I know the recent times have been unprecedented, and a lot of people may not have the means to be able to donate; in that case, please pray for Michael’s family and Laurie. We still can’t believe this is real.
