Laying Solveig Mathiasson to Rest

At 11:55 pm CST on Monday June 12th, 2023 we lost an amazing person, a saint, the best mother, the most amazing Mormor and most of all one of the brightest shining lights to ever come from Sweden.

Mormor, was genuinely the kindest, most giving, person to ever live. Not a bad word was ever spoken from her lips. She helped everyone she ever came in contact with. She worked hard all of her life and never complained. She always had a smile and pure intentions with everything she did. She was someone who cared for everyone expecting nothing in return. To say Solveig was anything short of a saint wouldn’t be just.

Nothing can be put into words that accuratly describes the feeling you had when you were with or around this amazing woman. You couldnt help but smile no matter the mood you were in. The impact she had is lost to most of us, but felt by many. It was an impact that was created by both Kurt (her late husband) and Solveig.

This fundraiser is to help out the family of Solveig lay her to rest, as the timing of her joining Kurt after a 23 year separation has come in a season of hardship. anything you can give to help is more than appreciated. We know the world could never be the same without Solveig in it, but we must remember to be happy that she is now at peace and rejoyce as we prepare to lay her to rest.
