Layla Hawkins' Malibu Home Destroyed by Wildfire!

My name is Dean Prator. I was devastated to hear that the Malibu home of my long-time friend Layla Hawkins burnt to the ground yesterday in the Pacific Palisades wildfires that not only spread through Malibu but neighboring communities as well.

All that remains of the Hawkins home on Manzanita Park Ave in Malibu is the lone standing fireplace. The rest of the home burnt to the ground.

Layla Hawkins is the widow of the late Tommy Hawkins who played 10 years in the NBA several with the L. A. Lakers and later worked in radio and television broadcasting in Los Angeles and served as vice president of communications for the Los Angeles Dodgers. While these wildfires continue raging throughout L.A. County many of the residents are now homeless because of the fires and need your immediate help.

Please donate to this Layla Hawkins campaign she, as well as others, need immediate help to find a temporary or permanent place to relocate to. It was also brought to my attention by several residents living in Pacific Palisades, Malibu etc. that thousands of homeowners living in these areas unexpectedly had their homeowner's insurance canceled only a few months ago before the fires started.
