Layna and Dom’s funeral costs and Tristan’s recovery

Hi. My name is Dirrae and I’m reaching out for the family of my beautiful cousin, Layna (40) who was killed in a tragic accident August 6, 2024. She and her 8 year old son, Dominic, died instantly. Tristan, Dom’s twin brother, is currently in ICU in Vancouver. Layna’s dad, a retired paramedic, along with her mom, sister, and partner Cory (Dom and Tristan’s dad) are hoping and praying Tristan makes a full recovery, but it is going to take some time and help. This tragedy was obviously unexpected, and I’m hoping anyone who sees this has it in their heart to donate to Layna’s family to help with funeral costs and aid in Tristan’s recovery.

Tristan has thankfully made it out of the ICU and is progressing well! This is a text we received from his grandmom, Layna’s mom:

We just talked with Tristan! He sounds amazing! He’s been on his special chair that can be wheeled around, able to go on games room for a change of scenery. Able to go outside! He is speaking very well even with his jaw wired. He was teasing, and sounded happy to hear from us. His other Grandma was with him, made my heart happy!!
