Lazzy's Surgery

Donation protected
Ever since Lazarus was born, he has been a fighter. At not even two weeks old, he developed tetanus and lost his back leg in an attack. When we found him in the woods, he was barely alive, clinging to life. Everyone wanted to put him down, but we didn't. He was nurtured back to health, and fought hard. At now almost 1 year old, he has been living a happy life full of crunch balls and cheese eggs, until a few weeks ago. He started urinating everywhere and lost mobility in his only other back leg. We found out during an emergency vet exam that he needs an MRI and possibly spinal surgery to fix his other leg, as he has an unknown back injury, compilation of tetanus, infection, etc. The only way to know for sure is an MRI. He needs help soon. We are trying very hard, but we're struggling. If you can donate even 5 dollars, it will help save him, his quality of life, and alleviate his pain. Death is not an option, as he is not just a cat, he's family. He is "The Boy".
Thank you,
Lazzy's Parents

UPDATE: After taking him to a special vet that works with cats like Lazzy, we ran several tests. We have learned he does not have any treatable infections, so therefore he has a healing injury interfering with his back leg (He only has one left, causing the full paralysis). We won't know the cause without an MRI, although we suspect it is a spinal injury. We can't afford it now, BUT we are recovering financially. We can save up over time rather than not at all like before. He will learn to walk again or be in a wheelchair, but he is doing better. Thank you all so much for your help. It means the world to our family knowing there were people out there looking after us, especially Lazzy. Thank you again.
