LB Belfast raising funds by participating in the Lisburn Charity Run 2024 - Do you want to join us in making a difference?

LB Belfast have participated in the Lisburn Run for several years raising over £3k for charities such as Sólás Autism and Additional Needs Charity Northern Ireland, Macmillan Cancer Support, Alzheimer’s Society and Cancer Research UK. This year’s Lisburn Run will take place on Wednesday 19th June and this year we are raising funds for Simon Community Northern Ireland in memory of Lisa’s sister, Orla… every donation will help!

Thank you in advance for your generous contribution to this remarkable charity, for which Orla dedicated many years of her life working for before sadly passing away in 2022. Orla’s profound commitment positively impacted countless individuals, empowering them to enhance their lives and reclaim their independence.

Established in 1971, the Simon Community is Northern Ireland’s leading homeless charity. They have a clear vision of creating a society where everyone has a place to call home. Their mission is simple, to end homelessness for those in need. Operating throughout Northern Ireland, they provide preventative services, temporary accommodation and specialised support services that address the unique challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness and they create pathways out of homelessness. Their aim is to not only provide immediate assistance but also long-term solutions that end the cycle of homelessness.
