I got sick early in the pandemic and never recovered. When my meager savings ran out I ended up on the street. I've been ill for almost three years and there is still no help in sight. I don't qualify for any type of public assistance and my medical expenses are significant; I have immune deficiency, neurological impairments, debilitating chronic fatigue, as well as reactivated latent viruses and opportunistic co-infections as a result of long covid.
