LCAP - Long Covid Action Project

LCAP is a united, diverse force of non-partisan individuals taking action to end the Long COVID crisis. We demand urgent treatment and support for the Long COVID community by mobilizing public awareness and driving government accountability.

To help bring an end to the Long Covid crisis, LCAP creates actions. Starting in 2023, our team and volunteers have built or supported the creation of multiple Long Covid action items: 1. the HEAL Long Covid legislation that encompasses three bills for research, social support and international support modeled after HIV/AIDS legislations 2. End The Long Covid Crisis Letter, now with over 500,000 letters sent to congress 3. Organization support for Long Covid Awareness Day on March 15th 4. Public Herald publishing of a letter to stop misinformation about Long Covid and confront gaslighting, and 5. X/Twitter Spaces for the Long Covid community to organize ideas and take action. 6. Letters to HELP Committee to set the record straight about viral persistence and Long Covid. 7. Call-to-action for Transcriptomic Viral Loads Tests to test for Long Covid and SARS-CoV-2 viral persistence. 8. the two-time award-winning short film "ANTIVIRALS NOW" that's reached over 100K views on X and helped advocates lobby for action in D.C.

Now, we need your financial help to bring support for continued direct actions until we have treatments in hand, viral load tests, and legislation that tackles all of Long Covid's needs.
