We cannot predict the future on potential legal costs from the fallout of coming forward publicly .
Raymond Trotter initially set up this campaign to offset potential future legal costs for him once his name was announced as the reporting officer and learned that he was to be subpoenaed to testify to parliament. Future cost for him do not appear to be materializing thus the campaign and funds ate shifting. Every donor who already had a donation in place has already been consulted individually through the GFM email conduit on the shift and we received approval from them. There were a few who did not agree with the shift and they have been refunded.
Heather is not being implicated in any crimes, but coming forward in such a public manner will likely hold a financial burden in the form of legal
In no way are we attempting to make any financial gain at the expense of others especially if costs are covered by the crown.
