LCpl. Andrew Jake White Funeral Fundraiser

On November 17, 2019, we lost a 3/8 Marine, LCpl. Andrew Jake White. Andrew served with 3rd Battalion 8th Marine Regiment, Kilo Company. He served honorable as an infantryman in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, in 2008-2009. On November 17th, he passed away at his home, leaving behind his two kids.
We are in contact with his family and are assisting them with the costs of the funeral. Please donate to assist White family during this hard time. ALL donations will go to provide assistance to Andrew’s family and his kids. Donations are being raise through 3/8 OIF & OEF Veterans, 501(c)3 Non-Profit, and all donors will receive a tax-write off receipt.

33, of Covington, LA; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, Kilo Company, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; died suddenly at his home on November 17, 2019. Andrew enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2006 and served as a 0311 Rifleman with 3rd Battalion 8th Marine Regiment, Kilo Company. In February 2007, he deployed for the first time on the 22nd MEU. Andrew deployed for the second time in October 2008 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to Helmand Province, Afghanistan. After the Marines, Andrew moved back to Louisiana and worked as a firefighter and a Safety Coordinator. He is survived by his two kids, brother and father.

More information about 3/8 OIF & OEF Veterans: 3/8 OIF & OEF Veterans is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit that provides financial and lifetime support assistance to Post-9/11 Veterans of 3rd Battalion 8th Marines and their families. Many of these veterans are still suffering from physical, mental, and emotional wounds such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). We want to ensure that they have the resources they need to recovery from their injuries and transition back to their civilian lives.
