http://www.noblinfuneralservice.com/memsol.cgi?user_id=1511555#.VMu1nFLUYJ4.Ihave a great friend who is the most selfless person I have ever met in my life. She has been dealt one hard hand, that very few could hold on to. Cassie has been through the death of both of her parents after her father was in a tragic car accident, and mother lost her battle to pancreatitis.
Cassie got the call in 2004 that was life changing, She was told that her father had been a severe car accident and that he would likely not live. He survived for 4 years due to her care. She stopped her life as a very young 21 year old girl, and brought her dad home to live with her. He required 24 hour care, and needed full assistance due to being paralyzed.
Cassie did things most daughters should never have to do. She bathed him, picked him up because he could not stand or walk, and changed his depends. I never heard her complain once, and she cared for him everyday until God called him home. You would think this should be enough for any daughter to go through, but cassie cleary was stronger than most, everyone knew it was her turn to finally find her own life and then her mother was diagnosed with COPD and Diabetes.
After countless respiratory illnesses, severe coughing fits, and gasping for her life Cassie changed her plans once again. Without hesitation Cassie quit her job, cashed in her 401K and moved her mother to New Mexico in hopes of a greater quality of life, and easier breathing due to a climate better suited for her medical condition.
After one short year of being in New Mexico her mother developed stomach pain and to their surprise the doctor's visit was just the beginning of a battle for her life. The initial diagnosis Pancreatitis, and septic was devastating, and then hearing hospice was the way to go was an even harder decision.
Barb (Cassie's mother) Clung to her life on 100% life support until her heart gave out due to the 50 pounds of fluid in her chest. Now Cassie is left in New Mexico, with her mothers boyfriend who is disabled and the too of them need to return to Iowa.
I am asking and praying that all that love and dedication can be payed forward. This girl really needs to come home. She needs money for travel expenses, food, a place to stay along the way, loans, and to get her a place here until she can get back on her feet. She is planning on returning to Iowa with in the next 2 months after selling her camper in Oklahoma.
I am not rich at all, single mom and 2 boys raising on my own. I managed to give her $240 to go towards final bills she must take care of before her return, Please help me help her.
