LD’s Fight Against Prostate Cancer

We're organizing and raising funds for LDSylvr, Vicky and their family. As most of you are aware, in April of 2023 Vicky and their kids were involved in a serious car accident that resulted in her being out of work for over 9-months and leaving LD as the primary supporter for the family. While Vicky was out of work LD changed his schedule to work extra days and longer hours to support his family and work to pay their standard bills, and the new medical bills. Because of this, LD had to cancel his own health insurance to cover other costs, and then - discovered he had Prostate Cancer.

While he will be able to rejoin the insurance in January 2025, we all know medical bills are expensive. Not only the tests he had to take in order to get diagnosed which were not covered, but any future treatments to include: Radiation and surgery. The medical bills, along with the additional time he will have to be out of work for treatments, and recovery are why we’re here.

This fundraiser is to help LD and his family, to help prepare them, and make things a little easier for them in the coming months. So they can focus on fighting, and healing instead of stressing about bills.

LD is someone who lifts us up when we’re having a day, always open to chat and tries his best to entertain, and keep us smiling. He’s always looking to help support others when they can and now we’re asking you to take a moment to consider him and his family during this time.
