Lea Rivkin

I am writing on behalf of my family for our dear mother Lea Rivkin. Lea recently retired after years helping others as a nurse at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was on a long awaited dream trip to Ireland where she has had a significant fall that left her with a shattered femur, snapped tendon and broke both of her ankles. There are bone fragments dangerously close to her femoral artery making transporting her very difficult. Currently her children Tara and Jeff are waiting to speak with the insurance company but the estimated cost of an air ambulance back from Ireland is $90,000. Lea is selfless and would not ask for help on her own, she would be greatly appreciative of any help you or others can provide to help her children get to Ireland and assist with her during this time. Funds will be used to help get Tara and Jeff get to Ireland to be by their mothers side as well as fund her current medical expenses and long recovery once home.
