LEAD Community Foundation Conference

Donation protected

LEAD Community Foundation is a non-governmental organization founded in 2018 by Mr. Kelvin Opiepie, dedicated to promoting mental health literacy and addressing the impact of depression in educational institutions and communities across the nation. Despite ongoing efforts, mental health stigma remains a significant challenge in Nigeria and Africa, creating barriers that prevent individuals from thriving. Our mission is to change this reality.

Building on the success of last year's international conference at LEAD, which trained 58 mental health first aiders, and had over 70 stakeholders, we are hosting our second annual conference with the following objectives:

1. *Cultivating Stakeholders*: Uniting diverse voices to drive impact.

2. *Driving Impact with Data*: Enhancing advocacy through data-driven strategies.

3. *Building Supportive Communities*: Establishing peer support networks in families and communities.

To achieve these goals, we seek support in these areas:

- *Accommodation* for local and international guests

- *Conference Venue* to host the event

- *Keynote Speakers* to facilitate the conference.

- *Logistical Support* for international guests

- *Publicity* (physical and online) and availability of personnel for awareness creation
