Lead Safe Mama Lab Tests: Colgate Kids Watermelon Toothpaste

Hi all!

We are working together to find a SAFER (toxicant-free) toothpaste! We have not yet found one, so we do not have one to recommend. Hopefully with these new testing campaigns we will find a safer choice.

So far (as of today) we have published the lab reports for SIX different toothpaste products and each one has tested positive for toxicants. You can find the comparative summary with the test results for all of the toothpastes we have sent to the lab for testing to date - here on this link:

We have set this campaign up today to raise funds to test and report on the toothpaste pictured here with this GoFundMe. This is one of many toothpastes that have been nominated for testing by members of the Lead Safe Mama global online community. Again - hopefully through this work we will find at least ONE toothpaste or tooth powder product that tests negative (non-detect) for Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, & Arsenic.

In the interest of getting more new Lead Safe Mama, LLC Laboratory Toothpaste / Tooth Powder Testing GoFundMes launched quickly - we are publishing these fundraising campaigns without the full detailed narrative but will be adding more narrative details (including links to the published lab reports once the testing has been completed) over the coming days and weeks (via updates to this campaign).

Key point: We have raised our goal ($25 more than previous campaigns) to reflect a new increase in pricing from SimpleLab to meet our testing requirements for supplements and other non-food products.
