Help LEAF1 get to the F1 in Schools World Finals
Donation protected
Hi, we are LEAF1, the UK F1 in Schools 2024 National Champions based at Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys, Canterbury, Kent. Later this year we have the opportunity to represent the UK at the Aramco 2024 F1 in Schools World Finals.
F1 in Schools is the largest multi-disciplinary STEM competition in the world with over 20 million students competing in 40 different countries. We are tasked with designing and manufacturing a miniature F1 car, which will be shot down a 20m track in just over a second.
We started our journey in 2019, where we represented Canterbury and South London in the National Finals. Although we did not win on that occasion, we have since grown to the team we are today and are ready to take the World Finals head on! In order to fuel our success we rely on generous contributions to help fund our project.
Additionally, we pledge that 20% of all donated money will be put towards one of our three initiatives: our eco initiative, where we aim to construct a living wall in our school; our inspire initiative, where we plan to inspire the next generation of engineers in various talks and workshops; and our drive initiative where we aim to promote women in motorsports, and also promote neurodiversity in engineering.
